• A small parking lot, with a few handicap spots, is available at the club.
• On Saturdays, street parking on most streets surrounding the club is unrestricted, except for the 00 block of 12^th Street, between Santa Clara St. and San Fernando Street.
• The closest parking garage is the San Jose State University (SJSU) North Parking Garage located just one block (3-minute walk) from the Woman’s Club. Parking garage details:
  • 65 S. 10^th Street Corner of S. 10^th and E. San Fernando Streets (entrance is on E. Fernando St.).
  • $8 flat rate on weekends
  • You must pre-pay immediately after parking. You can pay using the ParkMobile app or at self-service Permit Pay stations on the 1st Floor by the elevators.

International Day of the Girl Child is a United Nations observance that celebrates girls' rights and raises awareness of the barriers they face worldwide, including unequal access to education, healthcare, legal rights, and protection from violence and child marriage.

Together Women Rise is a charitable  giving community that funds grants to support women and girls in low-income communities in the Global South. It has nearly 300 chapters across the U.S., including several in the San Jose area. 

Founded in 1894, the San Jose Woman's Club is one of California's oldest women's organizations. It brings people together through friendship, service, and programs that support women and girls in the local community.
